The Association of cocoa producers of Carlos Julio Arosemena Tola "Tsatsayaku" is registered in the Superintendency of Popular and Solidarity Economy since April 5, 2013, it is made up of Kichwa families and colonists producing cocoa, coffee, wayusa and other products of The chakra in a number of 180 associates belonging to 13 associated communities, 500 families are estimated as indirect beneficiaries (they are producers of other organizations, transport, suppliers, restaurants and hotels with regard to the cocoa route).

Since its creation, the Association has generated spaces for inter-institutional management, managing to position itself in spaces of territorial governance such as the Mesa del Cacao, currently the Mesa de Chakra and others.

This experience has allowed him to be part of important public, private and international cooperation projects. It has the support of several Institutions, Municipal and Provincial Government Authorities and ONGs for the organizational strengthening and the value chain of cocoa, coffee and wayusa.

Made up of 25 women from the communities of the Arosemena Tola canton, members of Tsatsayaku with the aim of offering other services and generating direct income by improving the economy as the sale of fresh products from the area.

The women's group is also focused on strengthening the leadership and empowerment of the members, youth and children of members, being they the fundamental pillar for the sustainable system of chakra production and the family.

The campaign "Chakra, woman and chocolate", has the objective of promoting these elements and they are visualized in a comprehensive manner, locally, internationally, and both producers and consumers recognize the advantage of having and consuming fine and aromatic chocolate, a chocolate made with the best cocoa in the world, because behind each cocoa bean there is a story to tell and while they enjoy its excellent flavor they are part of this story.
